For a long time Maria dreamed of breeding a white Pomeranian spitz. She found her first dog abroad, in Lithuania. It was a wonderful nursery with producers with pure white coat colors. Pedigree, documents - everything was in perfect order. Moreover, the girl, who was 2 years old at the time of purchase, fascinated her with her beauty and amazing pedigree data.

A little later, Maria found out that her baby was already tied. The result of pregnancy was a difficult birth by Caesarean section. After the arrival of fluffy in a new home, it was decided to conduct a full examination of the dog's body.

Spitz was performed by ultrasound of the heart, abdominal cavity, uterus. According to the conclusion of the veterinarian, the dog was absolutely healthy and was able to give birth to puppies. However, it turned out not so rosy!

It's time to mate. She passed without any problems. Pregnancy also proceeded without complications. The birth took place under the supervision of a veterinarian, but it soon became clear that the dog itself would not give birth. We need to Caesar again! In order to carry out the operation under sterile conditions, the pet was taken to the clinic. During the operation, the doctor was shocked by what he saw: many adhesions with the peritoneum, bladder and other organs. The dog, as it turned out, was forbidden to give birth!

The doctor connected such a serious condition with an unsuccessful operation back in Lithuania, which the new owner could not at all know about. It is also amazing that the ultrasound of the organs showed the baby's full health.

Fortunately, both mom and two puppies were saved, but an additional operation to remove adhesions was required. It was decided to transfer it a little in time, so that the dog would gain strength and be able to feed milk to its puppies for at least some time.

However, the pet did not wait for the planned operation. At night she felt very bad: she did not move, did not eat, did not react to anything. In an emergency, she was taken to a hospital, where she was diagnosed with Pyometra (purulent endometritis).

It was decided to conduct an emergency operation to completely remove the uterus. However, it ended with severe intoxication of the body and blood poisoning. They decided to leave the Spitz in a hospital under the supervision of veterinarians.

The hostess at that moment decided to go home, because on that very day all her friends and relatives gathered on her birthday. If she knew how everything would turn out, she would never leave ...

The dog died at night. The body could not cope. As the doctor later said, the baby opened her eyes. They were filled with tears and as if looking for a mistress. Perhaps, if she was nearby, this would have added strength to the little beauty.

Now the hostess recalls with great pain that at that moment she did not stay next to her favorite.

It is very important to remember that ultrasound, tests - this is not the ultimate truth. You should always pay attention to the well-being of your four-legged friend, the slightest alarm calls.
