Pet size

Evaluate the possibilities of your living space. Living in a spacious private house gives you more freedom in choosing a dog breed, as there is enough space even for a large Tibetan mastiff. And for a one-room apartment, small dogs are more suitable: Pekingese, small terriers, pug, maltese, papillon.

Attractive appearance

It is difficult to give any advice. Some do not like slobbery and "grunting" mollusks, while others do not like souls in them. Therefore, when choosing the appearance of a pet, it remains to be guided only by their own preferences. But for a comfortable life with a pet, it is more important to take into account all of the above parameters and only in the last place to look for your favorite color and type of coat, eye color, shape of ears, etc.

If you think that buying a short-haired dog will have less hair in the apartment, then you are mistaken, because like long-haired breeds of a dog, all are subject to molting. But, as practice shows, there is equally a lot of wool in the house from both long-haired and short-haired.
