Elf is a very young breed. The date of its appearance is considered to be the 2006th year, and the birthplace is the United States. It was there that two breeders, Karen Nelson and Kristen Lead, wanted to bring out something “completely new.” And they, by the way, did it perfectly well!

Work on the breed was carried out for a long time and very laboriously. It is believed that the American Curl and the Sphinx, with which the new pet adopted the hairless gene and the unusual shape of the ears, put their paws on the Elf story.

To date, breeding work continues, however, none of the international organizations have not recognized the new breed.

Description of the cat Elf
